I was cleaning out a bag and found this quote scrawled on a scrap of paper. It was going to be the next chalkboard I drew at Split Rock Books. As we head into another week of uncertainty, I want to send love to all indie booksellers & those who are supporting them. Keep it up and THANK YOU!
I know from experience that small bookstores are already down to skeleton crews and every sale of books count! If you live in a town that has a small bookstore, please look into doing web orders with them! And if you don’t, consider supporting an independent bookstore elsewhere. What better way to be cooped up than reading a book? Along with Split Rock Books, I highly recommend Kepler’s, Three Lives, Bear Pond Books, Chaucer’s, and Harvard Bookstore.
