I love this one! I can feel the wind and the cold and the thrill of being down at the low tide. Happy post.

Hi Summer, great comic~ I love reading about your experiences with Gus. He is too adorable and makes great material to read about. Also, I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for being so awesome and inspiring. I bought your Artist in the Office book a few years ago and I read it and reread it all the time. (Actually how I acquired it was pretty awesome too, me and a random lady were in an aisle at Half Price Books and she had found your book for me . I told her I love to draw/I’m an aspiring animator/I need inspiration or something like that). Anyways Its been so helpful and positive, I have been recommending others to read it too. So thank you again for offering great advice and I wish you all the best! Looking forward to the next comic.

Hi – I’m really glad I found your blog. So much of it chimes with me: see my most recent post, and you’ll see what I mean – themes of running, trying to fit comics and illustration around work and being a parent.

I will be reading through all your posts just as soon as I get a moment, and in the meantime I just wanted to say hello. *waves*
