So, you got a call from SARK?!? Were you able to connect with her again? Inquiring minds want to know!
Totally sounds like my train of thought!
No, but there turned out to be a message that was sweet and encouraging!
If you haven’t already picked up a copy of Emily’s Hundred’s and Thousands, you need to! It’s all journal entries so it’s really easy to dip in and out of if you don’t have time to sit down and read for long periods of time. She is a delightful writer and it’s fascinating to get a glimpse into her world and creative process.
I have read Hundreds and Thousands and absolutely loved it. I’ve actually read a few of her books–she is a wonderful writer. I’ve also paid pilgrimage to her childhood home and the house she had custom built to ran as a boarding house for 15 years. I LOVE Emily Carr!
Yay! So glad you’ve read her writing and seen some of her old haunts in Victoria!
