10-4 good buddy. My mom passed in Nov. 2012. So this too, was my 1st Mother’s Day. The probate stuff is tedious and is an anticlimatic reminder that stuff still needs to get done.
    One step at a time.

Sending many (((hugs))) you’re way – you are not alone. While it may be inclination to wall yourself off from the world, just know that there are many out here who are poised to help, even if only to listen for a little while. Send as many messages-in-a-bottle that you to.

I don’t think those are sharks. They’re wetsuits. It’s me, Blaise, and Uncle John coming to push you in…maybe it should be Uncle Dick. He’s a better swimmer;)…Love you! Hang in…

Yeah, this Mother’s Day stuff is always hard for me to deal with, too. All the damn advertising makes me feel so guilty – because the truth is I didn’t love my mama. I simply endured her.

Sending you a big hug right now! Yes, I dealt with it all….Probate, grief, etc., temporary fallsouts with siblings. But all is well now and my parents would be proud of us. Us siblings are much closer now…..and nothing will divide us. Remember the contract….and this is a process. There are no ways around it…you have to go through it.

Remember the offer for the house in PG is always there. You would have free access and would not be obligated to us….meaning you have a place to stay. Headed to Alaska to celebrate both of our 60th BD’s. Take Care and think of you often. Eva Jardin-Aptos

oh, Summer! I know this grief– the waves, the washing, the feeling of being totally adrift. Though our recent losses are not the same– mine a sister, and yours a mother– the raging grief may be. May the loneliness abate and you feel the presence of peace.. xo Becki in Atlanta

Let the waves of grief wash over you– no resistance. Sending good energy that you will soon land on a safe island before setting sail again.
