Beautiful. And so often why we part ways with both friends and lovers.
Loss of love is never easy. And what is even more disturbing to discover is that what happened that long ago can still get to you even after you know both of you have moved on in life. Love seems to stick with you always and surprises you at the least expected moments. Good or bad, love always feels like a gut punch, doesn’t it? But, I’d rather have been punched many times than never at all. Love is a f***in’ conundrum, but who wants to live without it, right?!
Also, enjoy your family reunion because it will be a time of peace before the big move. It’ll be OK. And, of course, I wish you well. Congrats on the house. Instincts are usually right – but it IS nice to have them proven once in a while. Much luck & love!
