I discovered zines back in 2008. I was 51 at the time, and wondered how I had survived so long without them. I also enjoy “King-Cat” and everything written by Katie Haegele, including “The La-La Theory” and “White Elephants.” And I’ve even created two zines myself.
YAY ZINES! Thanks for posting this engaging, informative comic, Summer. You made me smile.
Hi Summer! Great blog! Discovered it through Keri Smith. Anyway, another great zine to check out is Moonlight Chronicles by d.price (Dan Price). Or The Beany by Michael Nobbs. Both gentlemen have great stories to tell. Take care, Line

“Guy Smiley” was a recurring character on Sesame Street – a newscaster, if I remember correctly
Kim! I’ve never heard of Katie Haegele, but I can already tell I am gonna dig her! Thanks!
Jonathan- oh my golly, you are RIGHT. Perhaps the misspelling was an unconscious attempt to thwart copyright infringement!
